To ignite, first FILL YOUR LIGHTER WITH BUTANE (more on that below!) 

To use lighter, flick the lever with the jump ring on it and flame will come from the hole in the can!

Plastic lighter uses butane gas.

Lighter may light when you first get it but will absolutely positively need to be filled with butane.
